New users: if you have been registered as a Mortgage Broker in BC for less than two years, you might not have an MBIBC education account set up yet. To create a new account click here
Alert: Do not create a duplicate account. Courses taken under a duplicate account might not be deemed as applicable for your license renewal. This can cause renewal issues and delays. If you’re unsure about your account status, call our office at 604-559-5161
Contacting the regulator: The regulation of Mortgage Brokers is overseen by the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA). To learn more about BCFSA, visit bcfsa.ca, call 604-660-3555 or email mortgagebrokers@bcfsa.ca.
Please note that the Mortgage Brokers Institute of British Columbia (MBIBC) is not the industry regulator. MBIBC simply offers educational courses to Mortgage Brokers, many of which can be used to satisfy the regulator’s ongoing education requirements.
